'OLIVIA' the Musical
Year 6 at Pokesdown Primary School performed the musical ‘Olivia’ on Friday 3rdFebruary 2012 to a packed audience of parents, grandparents and friends. The children had worked extremely hard learning their lines, producing their costumes and practising the songs which included ‘Consider Yourself’, ‘Where is Love’, ‘ I want to be a Lady’ and ‘Pick a Pocket or Two’ to name just a few. The lead role of Olivia was taken by Nicole McNally, and Stephanie Batchellier played the part of Eliza. “It is amazing how children aged 11 can produce a performance of such high quality”, and “Extremely professional”, were some of the comments made by members of the audience.
