• End of term activities

  We've an exciting last 2 weeks of Spring Term at Pokesdown. Not only have we lots of outcomes taking place -  but the children will also be able to wow their parents with their work at the parent teacher meetings on Wednesday 29th March.

  Watch out too for photos of our miniature spring gardens, Easter bonnets and our 'Bling your Bike and Scooter' competitions in our next newsletter.

• Our School Street has arrived!

  On Monday the 27th February -  Livingstone Road has been turned into a School Street. What a difference we have seen this week. Everyone has enjoyed walking along the road, feeling safer and helping the environment!

  Bagels for Everyone! Every child at Pokesdown can now start their day with a healthy breakfast. We have partnered with the National Schools Breakfast Programme to enable every child to receive a freshly cooked bagel every single day! What a great way to start the school day!

  Have you heard the exciting news about school lunches here at Pokesdown? We're one of the first schools outside of London to be working with the brilliant charity Chefs in Schools.  We now have 2 brilliant chefs - Chef Russ and Chef Matt who cook fresh food for us each day in our classroom restaurants.
