Choosing a school for your child is a very important decision.  If you are interested in applying for a place at Pokesdown Community Primary School and would like to take a look around, please call the school office on 01202 428982.

Applying for a Reception place starting in September 2024?

If you are applying for a Reception place as part of the main round of admissions for September, we will be offering 60 places in Reception.  We will be offering tours and meeting dates, so you can find out more about our school.

The application process will open on 1st September. Applications are invited from interested parents to secure one of these places for their children. If you would like to apply for a Reception place for your child, please go to the BCP Council website  www.bcpcouncil.gov.uk/schooladmissions or contact the Children's Information Service on 01202 123222.

Letters will be sent out from BCP Council in April advising if parents have been offered a place.
