At Pokesdown we follow Coram Life Education - SCARF programme and resources throughout our school. This supports our whole school approach to our children's wellbeing and mental health. SCARF supports our great learning, promotes positive behaviour and develops resilience and friendships.
Our curriculum equips children with the knowledge they need in Relationships Education, Drugs and Alcohol Education, Sex education, Online safety, Health education and the wider world.
Teaching and learning about protected characteristics is also fully integrated into SCARF, through age-appropriate content across the SCARF spiral curriculum.
