Year 5 have been busy working towards last week’s Brain of Britain outcome which we hope you enjoyed as much as the children. We were really happy to see so many of you as the children were so excited to show off their new knowledge. Your positive feedback was really appreciated. We were also really impressed with your children’s home learning which they had clearly worked hard on and enjoyed sharing.
During this project, we were lucky enough to have a visit from one of our children’s parents who works for Ordnance Survey. He came in to tell us all about his work and how maps are created. We always welcome visitors who can speak to the children about any personal relevant knowledge they may have which may support our projects. Please contact us if you are willing to talk to the children at any time. Our new project is about the impact Vikings have had on British History so if anyone can help in this area we would welcome your input.
