Links with AFC Bournemouth

Today (19.1.16) we were honoured with a visit from one of AFC Bournemouth's Premier League team.  Steve Cook (Central Defender) visited Year 6 to deliver a 'Respect' Workshop and give children advice on creating posters promoting the values.  He awarded some prizes to some lucky children before being interviewed by Sky TV in the school grounds.

He briefly visited Year 5 and took some questions where he stated that his inspiration, when he was a young boy, was Michael Owen and latterly the players he most admires are Gary Cahill and John Terry.  He was delighted to have beaten Chelsea by 1-0 in their recent match!

The following Thursday (21.1.16) Jeff Mostyn (Chairman) visited Year 3 to assist with the same 'Respect' Workshop sharing his ideas with many of the children.  Whilst he was here he paid a visit to Year 5 who had prepared questions to ask him about his Chairmanship of the Club.
